Back in Janów Lubelski again. This time with a slightly bigger crew: me, Jerry, and Marcin. The plan was simple ride from Janów to Zwierzyniec, sleep, then ride back the next day. No pressure, no heroic ambitions, just two days on bikes and a quiet escape toward Roztocze. Day one was calm and easy: wide gravel roads through the Janów Forests, soft light, steady pedalling, and the kind of evening when doing nothing feels like a very important part of the plan.

Day two brought the weather plot twist. Rain, mud, cold air, and roads that suddenly felt much less friendly. We kept moving anyway, slowly and without drama, adjusting the pace to the day rather than fighting it. It wasn’t fast, it wasn’t clean, and it definitely wasn’t warm but it was exactly our kind of ride. A little wet, a little tired, very much together, and fully in the fat&lazy tempo.
